1. Overview and Acceptance

These terms govern the use of the application “Linkstreams” (the “App”), the RepoCreator tool, and this website (together, the “Software”), provided by the makers of Linkstreams (“Linkstreams”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By installing or using the Software, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What Linkstreams Is

Linkstreams is a general-purpose media player and network tool. The App can load and play back media data over the BitTorrent protocol, using references (magnet links) that you provide. Like a web browser or a traditional torrent client, the App is a neutral, technical utility and is content-neutral.

Linkstreams is not a platform or a service. We operate no server that stores, indexes, hosts, transmits, or delivers media content, and no user content passes through us. The App runs on your device and connects you directly to third-party sources and peers that you choose.

3. How Repos Work — No Content, No Index

The App ships without any content whatsoever. It contains no catalog, no preinstalled links, no content search, and runs no index. All magnet links and lists (“repos”) are provided exclusively by you, typically via a third-party service of your choice (for example, Pastebin). We do not host, store, distribute, reproduce, index, or curate any media content.

In practice this works as follows: you assemble your own list of magnet links and publish it as a “repo” on a third-party paste service that you choose and control (for example, Pastebin). In the App you enter only a short key that points to that paste. When you open a repo, the App fetches it directly from that third-party service to your device and decodes it locally; playback then runs peer-to-peer, directly between your device and other peers. The repo and the media never reside on, pass through, or become visible to any server of ours. This is also why we have no ability to monitor, alter, or remove what a repo contains.

4. RepoCreator & Software

RepoCreator is a neutral, local utility that converts magnet links you type into a block of text. It runs entirely in your browser, stores nothing on our servers, fetches no media, and neither verifies nor curates what you enter. The downloadable application (APK) is our own software and contains no third-party content. You are solely responsible for the links you enter, encode, export, host elsewhere, or share.

5. Acceptable Use & User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use the Software. In particular, you agree to:

• comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including copyright and related rights;
• only access and stream content that you are authorized to access (for example, public-domain works, your own content, or content with the explicit permission of the rights holder);
• not use the Software for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of third parties.

Responsibility for the content accessed or shared through the Software rests entirely with you.

6. Copyright & Complaints

Because repos live on third-party services that you choose and control, and because the App moves data directly between your device, those services, and other peers, we have no technical access to that data: we cannot see it, copy it, alter it, or take it down. We host, store, index, and control no content of any kind. There is therefore nothing for us to remove, and we are not a hosting provider, intermediary, or platform. Accordingly, we operate no notice-and-takedown procedure, and content-removal requests cannot be actioned by us. Only you, as the creator of a repo, or the third-party service that hosts it can change or remove it.

Complaints about specific content must be directed to the relevant source instead: for example, the provider of the paste/list service, the trackers concerned, or the individuals who make the content available on the peer-to-peer network. The contact address below is for general questions only and is not a channel for content removal.

7. Third-Party Services

The App interacts with third-party services and participants, including paste services (e.g., Pastebin), BitTorrent trackers, the DHT network, and other peers. These are not under our control. We assume no responsibility for their availability, content, policies, or practices. Their own terms apply.

8. Privacy & Peer-to-Peer Notice

Linkstreams runs no server and requires no sign-up. Your repos, playback history, and settings are stored locally on your device.

Please be aware of the nature of peer-to-peer networks: when streaming over BitTorrent, your device connects directly to other participants. In doing so, your IP address may be visible to other peers and trackers, as with any torrent client. If you wish to avoid this, use a trusted VPN/anonymization service.

9. No Warranty

The Software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, availability, freedom from errors, or playback quality. Streaming speed and stability depend on factors beyond our control (e.g., the number of seeds, your network connection).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Linkstreams shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the Software, including damages related to content accessed through the App.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Linkstreams harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Software or any breach of these terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is published on this page; the date above indicates the most recent change. By continuing to use the Software, you agree to the version then in effect.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
