1. Overview and Acceptance

These terms govern the use of the application “Linkstreams” (the “App”), the Collection Creator tool, and this website (together, the “Software”), provided by the makers of Linkstreams (“Linkstreams”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By installing or using the Software, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The App also has its own terms of use, which it shows before first use and asks you to accept; they are also published at i.linkstreams.app/t. For the App, its own terms apply in addition to these and take precedence where the two differ.

The App’s terms may contain terms for features, offers, and services that these terms do not describe, now or in a future version of the App, such as paid features, advertising, services offered with partners, or other ways of funding the App. Such terms apply to you only once you have accepted them in the App, so please read the App’s terms carefully whenever the App shows them to you.

2. What Linkstreams Is

Linkstreams is a general-purpose media player for Stremio addons. The App loads catalogs, title details, streams and subtitles from addons that you add, and plays streams over the BitTorrent protocol or through a debrid service that you connect. Like a web browser or a traditional torrent client, the App is a neutral, technical utility and is content-neutral: it does not recommend, promote, verify, or endorse any addon, stream, title, or rights holder.

Linkstreams is not a platform or a service. We operate no server that stores, indexes, hosts, transmits, or delivers media content, and no user content passes through us. The App runs on your device and connects you directly to the addons, debrid services, paste services and peers that you choose.

3. How Collections Work — No Content, No Index

The App ships without any content whatsoever. It contains no catalog of its own, no preinstalled addons or links, and runs no index. Everything it shows, including catalogs, search results and streams, comes from the Stremio addons you add. Addons are third-party services operated by others; we do not operate, host, curate, or endorse any addon, and we do not host, store, distribute, reproduce, index, or curate any media content.

In practice this works as follows: you assemble a collection, a list of Stremio addon addresses, typically with Collection Creator, and publish it as a paste on a third-party paste service that you choose and control (for example, Pastebin). In the App you enter only a short code that points to that paste. When you enter the code, and when you open the collection, the App fetches the paste directly from that paste service to your device and decodes it locally. It asks the listed addons for their names when you enter the code, and for their catalogs and streams when you open the collection. Playback then runs either peer-to-peer, directly between your device and other peers, or through the debrid service you connected. The collection, the addons’ answers and the media never reside on, pass through, or become visible to any server of ours. This is also why we have no ability to monitor, alter, or remove what a collection or an addon contains.

On a phone or computer you can also make a collection in the App itself, from the addon addresses you enter. It stays on that device: the App suggests no addons and publishes nothing. If you share it, you publish its export yourself, as with Collection Creator.

4. Collection Creator & Software

Collection Creator is a standalone configuration tool, not a platform. It turns the addon addresses you enter into a block of text and runs entirely in your browser. It has no accounts, no directory, and no search; it does not publish, host, share, or distribute collections; and no one else can see what you enter in it. Nothing you enter is sent to us: your last draft stays in your browser’s local storage. To check an addon, Collection Creator loads that addon’s manifest from the addon’s own server. It fetches no media, and it neither verifies nor curates what you enter.

What you do with the text it produces, including whether and where you publish it and with whom you share the resulting code, is your decision and your responsibility. The downloadable application (APK) is our own software and contains no third-party content. You are solely responsible for the addons you add, encode, export, host elsewhere, or share.

5. Acceptable Use & User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use the Software. In particular, you agree to:

• comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including copyright and related rights;
• only access and stream content that you are authorized to access (for example, public-domain works, your own content, or content with the explicit permission of the rights holder);
• comply with the terms of the addons and debrid services you use;
• not use the Software for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of third parties; and
• not rely on Linkstreams to verify the legality, safety, or suitability of any addon, stream, collection, or paste.

We do not review, monitor, verify, or approve the addons and collections that you or others add. That an addon, title, or stream appears in the App does not mean that it is lawful, licensed, safe, or endorsed by us.

When you stream over BitTorrent, your device also uploads the pieces it has received to other peers while the stream runs. In many countries, downloading or sharing copyrighted works without the rights holder’s permission is unlawful and can lead to civil claims, such as demands for damages, or to criminal penalties. You alone decide what to open and play, and you are responsible for making sure you have the right to do so where you are. Responsibility for the addons you add and for the content accessed or shared through the Software rests entirely with you.

6. Rights Holders & Notices

We do not host, store, or index media, collections, or addon answers. Collections live on paste services that their authors choose, addons are run by third parties, and playback takes place directly between a user’s device, those services, debrid services, and other peers. We therefore cannot remove material from those places ourselves: only the author of a collection, the operator of an addon, the service that hosts a paste, or the peers sharing a torrent can change or remove it.

If you hold rights in a work and believe that material reachable with the Software infringes them, write to us at the address under “Contact” below. Please name the work, the addon, collection code, or other place where the material appears, and how we can reach you. We review every notice. Where we can identify the third party that hosts or operates the material, we tell you who it is or forward your notice to them, and we take the further steps within our control that are appropriate. You can also contact that third party directly, for example the operator of the addon or the paste service concerned.

7. Third-Party Services

The App interacts with third-party services and participants, including Stremio addons, paste services (e.g., Pastebin), debrid services (e.g., Real-Debrid, AllDebrid, Premiumize, Debrid-Link), BitTorrent trackers, the DHT network, and other peers. These are not under our control, and Linkstreams is not affiliated with them. We assume no responsibility for their availability, content, policies, or practices. Their own terms apply.

Linkstreams is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Stremio or its operator, by any addon developer, or by any debrid service, paste service, or rights holder. Names of products and services on this website, in the setup guide and its video, and in the App are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe what the App works with.

8. Privacy & Peer-to-Peer Notice

Linkstreams requires no sign-up and runs no application server for your collections or watch history. Your addon config codes, the collections you make in the App, watch history, playback positions, settings, and debrid sign-in are stored locally on your device. We do not receive or track which collections you add, which addons you use, which streams you open, or what you watch. The Privacy Policy describes what the App sends to addons, paste services and debrid services.

Please be aware of the nature of peer-to-peer networks: when streaming over BitTorrent, your device connects directly to other participants and shares pieces of the video with them while it plays. In doing so, your IP address is visible to other peers and trackers, as with any torrent client. If you wish to avoid this, use a trusted VPN, or play through a debrid service.

9. No Warranty

The Software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, availability, freedom from errors, or playback quality. Streaming speed and stability depend on factors beyond our control (e.g., the addons you use, the number of seeds, your debrid service, your network connection).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Linkstreams shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the Software, including damages related to content accessed through the App, loss of data, device damage, network charges, or actions taken by third-party services or peers.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you. In particular, we remain liable without limitation for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and under mandatory product-liability law. Where the law of the country in which you live as a consumer does not allow a wider exclusion, we are liable for ordinary negligence only if we breach an obligation that is essential to these terms, and only for the foreseeable damage typical of such a breach. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Linkstreams harmless from third-party claims, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your unlawful use of the Software, from content you access or share through it in breach of the rights of others, or from your breach of these terms, to the extent that you are responsible for them.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is published on this page; the date above indicates the most recent change. By continuing to use the Software, you agree to the version then in effect.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you use the Software as a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually reside.
